The Split Personality-The meaning!
The meaning of what you mean by "a split personality" is scientifically defined as "a person having "multiple personality within him"! This is caused by the severe suppression of his natural behavior pattern,sensual pleasure or needs in early stages of life specially during childhood,which could have been purposely oppressed by the society mainly due to religious & social factors!! A man could become as a split personality if he had severe emotional suppression in his early stages of life. Due to this reason he may find it very difficult to attain his "mental age" as expected from a normal healthy individual. His physical age will pass as usual but not his mental age!
As a result he may receive the following symptoms:
Playing and having contacts with small children even though he may be an adult!
May become as a pedophile in the later stages of his life!
May live in oblivion and may not be interested in social gatherings and normal sexual pleasure!
He will loose the worldly interest and may become as highly religious in one time and transform himself as an athest in another!
May live alone and may show that he is a gentleman among the public!
May have a severe headache in early stages of his transformation and would not know as to what had happened in him!
May Speak different languages and may attract same or opposite sex!
May become as a serial killer and may not know that he had committed a crime !

Briefly speaking people who suffer with Multiple Personality Disorders(M.P.D) can not be cured because the chemical changes in his brain can not be reversed! There is no specific time for this transformation and it may occur suddenly. According to religious point of view this is mainly caused by an evil force which may enter into a human mind which is very weak and takes control of it for a "brief period of time".
To avoid split personality an individual must be allowed to grow naturally without any scares his emotional life !
