Having sex when the children are grown-up.....Is it ok?
In most asian families having sex when the children are grown-up is considered as a taboo subject! The parents either refrain from sex or do it in an environment where their children would not be seen for a couple of hours! The psyche behind this attitude is cultural rather than social! The parents feel that when the children are grown-up "performing the act" will harm their mentality!
The truth is that performance of sex when the child is near-by will lead to "inquisitiveness" on the part of the child and sometimes cause it to become as anxious and nervous! It is not a good practice to engage in sexual activity when the children are in the vicinity.The parents must frankly tell their children when they become as teenagers that what marriage means and what is the core issue in a marital relationship! They must tell their children it is natural that the mother and the father sleep together and they(the children) should go to bed in another room.Boys can be in one room and the girls can be in another room or both sexes can be together in a room! Mingling brothers and sisters at an early age will bring affection among themselves.
At the first instance the boy or a girl will resist or cry that he/she will not go to sleep in another room through fear or loneliness,but when the days go-by and with the understanding between parents and them, they will be ready to sleep in another room sans thjeir parents.It may not happen within oneday or two day! The parents must have patience and understanding to reach this aim! In early days the mother or the father would have to sleep with them to relate bed stories or hymns until they are lulled to sleep.After some time they can re-join in their bed room!
The parents must separate their children from them when they are nine or ten years old so that they themselves can enjoy their sex life fully!!
But this type of facility will not be available for poor household where you may find one room and a kitchen for living or only one room to perform the functions of the both! Under this circumstances,the parents have only one way that is to enjoy themselves in the day time when their children are gone to school or to the nearby playground. If they wish they can purposely send the children to their relatives' house for some hours to have sex and mutual understanding!
Remember, sex is the fundamental thing to each and every being and forgoing it would lead to various problems such as family break-downs,divorces,illicit -affairs,homo-sexuality,sex related crimes,under aged sex,frustration, aloofness ,loneliness,mental illness etc!!
Plan-out your day enjoy life happily with and without your children.Some activities such as picnics,excursions,are meant for all family members wherein you can even allocate a time slot to enjoy sex!!
Therefore sex is not a taboo, and it need not be excluded or be refrained when you become older ! A man can enjoy sex with his wife even at his late fifties!!
